Description
This project focused on the seasonal care and management of established apple and pear trees in a private orchard. The objective was to enhance fruit yield, remove overcrowded branches, and maintain healthy, productive growth through specialist pruning techniques.
Project Scope
Our arborists carried out formative pruning and thinning during the dormant season, promoting airflow and light distribution throughout the canopy. The work balanced fruiting potential with tree structure, reducing the risk of disease and improving long-term productivity.
- Formative pruning of apple and pear trees
- Removal of crossing and diseased wood
